| The Safety and Health at
Work Act, passed in May 2005, requires workplaces to have health and safety committees and
employee health and safety delegates. This course explains the legal requirements, the
roles and responsibilities of committees and delegates, and provides instruction to
effectively carry out their important functions. This is a Barbados-specific version of
the REA Health and Safety Committee Certification Course, and Ontario Workplace Safety and
Insurance Board approved course that has been taken by nearly 10,000 workers and managers
in Canada since 1996 and in Barbados by over 200 workers and managers since 2006. For more more information call (246)
