Live Webinars
REA's Live Webinar's allows participants to engage in media-rich presentations and interactive instruction for a more valuable learning experience, without having to travel. Using the audio and video from their desktop or calling in from a telephone - like a conference call, participants can join in on the presentation by our highly trained consultants. With full interactivity, participants will be able to have question and answer periods, discussions on pertinent topics, reviews of case studies in break-out sessions, and real-time testing and polling for a comprehensive understanding of the course material.

How does it work?
To register, go the the link HERE and select a webinar. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation, along with instructions describing (1) how to log-in to the webinar event, (2) how to communicate with the instructor and other participants during the live webinar, (3) where to find the course materials (e.g. learner's manual, handouts, etc.), and (4) how to use interactive features of the software platform. You will also receive a link to our tutorial that shows you how the webinar looks, and how to use the interactive features. We encourage you to take this tutorial before the webinar event, to help you get the most out of it. Finally, you will receive an invitation to the event for automatic entry into your Outlook calendar.
Approximately 1 week before the webinar, you will receive a reminder and link to the materials for download. You will also receive a final reminder one day before the webinar.
On the scheduled date(s) of the course, open the registration confirmation e-mail, and click on the log-in link provided up to 15 minutes before the start of the event. If you plan to listen in and speak to the instructor by telephone, you will also dial-in at that time. If you intend to communicate using voice-over-internet protocol, you will select this option at the time of logging-in (be sure you have a headset equipped with a microphone). At the scheduled start time, the instructor will begin the session. During the course there will be designated times for questions and answers, discussion, exercises, and other activities. If the course includes tests or examinations, those will also take place on a "live" basis, and you will know the results immediately.
Are there additional telephone charges?
No. Customers may choose to hear webinar audio feed and conduct voice communications via toll-free telephone, or via voice-over-internet protocol.
Webinar Viewing and Participation by Several Persons
Registration and payment for one "log-in" allows the customer to view and participate in the webinar via one computer, and results in REA creating one registrant / participant record. If one "log-in" is paid for, the customer is at liberty to have multiple persons sit around a single computer to view the webinar, or to project the webinar onto a large screen or monitor, to enable viewing by multiple persons. This can be a very economical way of providing instruction for large numbers of personnel. However, if only one "log-in" is paid for, then only one representative of the customer may participate in the webinar by voice communication, and a training record will be produced in the name of the one person named by the customer as a participant / registrant. In other words, if you have multiple persons watch the webinar, only one of them can speak with the instructor, and we will only issue a certificate and test result in the name of one person.
What about testing or certificates for several persons?
If the webinar is one that involves or results in: (a) issuance of a certificate of attendance or completion, and the customer wants certificates issued to several participants; or (b) completion of any tests or examinations for which the customer wishes to receive proof of completion and/or results, or (c) issuance of any manner of certification maintenance or professional development points (e.g. AIHA CM points, etc.), then the customer must purchase one "log-in" for each participant for which (a), (b) or (c) are required. For example, if an employer trains 10 supervisors and wants proof that all 10 participated in the webinar and successfully completed all tests and examinations, then it would be necessary to register all 10 persons and pay the associated fees. In this case, the customer will be sent 10 individual log-ins, one for each participant.
