November 22, 2007 - We are pleased to advise that REA Senior Consultant Joanna
Tam has achieved the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation,
conferred by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (www.abih.org). Qualification as a
CIH requires a university degree in industrial hygiene or a related field, five years of
professional practice experience, peer references by CIHs, and successful completion of an
8 hour comprehensive examination. All staff at REA extend congratulations to Joanna. |

October 29, 2007 - Paul Bozek appointed Assistant Professor at University of
Toronto Paul Bozek, Senior Occupational Hygiene and Engineering Consultant at the REA
Markham office has been promoted from part-time Lecturer to full time Assistant Professor
of Occupational Hygiene, in the Graduate Department of Public Health at the University of
Toronto. In his new role Paul will be teaching graduate degree students and carrying out
research at the Gage Occupational and Environmental Health Unit. Paul has been with REA
since the early 1990s, and will continue to carry on his consulting practice with the firm
on a part-time basis. All the staff of REA congratulate Professor Bozek and wish him
success as he nurtures the OHS leaders of tomorrow. |

October 15, 2007 - Harold Oxley receives business excellence awards in Barbados
Harold Oxley, Managing Director of the REA Envirohealth office in Barbados, has received
two awards for business excellence by the Barbados Small Business Association (BSBA).
Earlier in October the Barbados Development and Investment Corporation announced that
Harold had received BSBAs Entrepreneur of the Year award, as well as a
second award for Outstanding Performance in General Services. All the staff of

July 31, 2007 - Jeff Harris REA is pleased to welcome Mr. Jeff Harris BSc MHSc to the firm, effective July 9,
2007. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Toronto School of Public Health Sciences,
where he completed a masters degree in occupational hygiene. For the past two years Jeff
worked with the Ontario Safety Association for Community and Health Care (OSACH), where he
was responsible for consulting and training services in the Greater Toronto Area and parts
of Northern Ontario. He also has prior occupational hygiene experience with a large
integrated oil and gas company in Alberta. Jeff will be based at the Markham office. His
practice will include health and safety program services for the health care sector, EHS
training, and occupational hygiene. |
